Several events are being planned for the 2019 Black River Trash Bash. Below are organizations that will be participating – in many cases, details on times and location are still being finalized, but we will update you as details begin to confirm. Mark your calendars or if you know of a group that would like to participate (you need as little as 2-3 people on a publicly accessible site) please contact Jennifer Harvill at firstname.lastname@example.org or 315-785-2392. This year, in conjunction with the 2019 International Coastal Cleanup Day, will mark our 10th Annual Black River Trash Bash! Simply put, this event, on a day of your choosing in September or October, is meant to draw awareness to the problem of trash and pollution along our waterways. Also, in cleaning up and cataloging what trash you’ve removed from the shore, you will be adding data to a worldwide dataset!
